SQI and its supporters believe that future progress requires bringing neuro- and cognitive scientists, who are discovering the foundations of natural intelligence, together with engineers and computer scientists, who are developing models to test those understandings. Together, these interdisciplinary teams will enable a beneficial cycle, shaping the development of next-generation AI.
